Relaxing can also be accomplished through activities like jogging, swimming, playing sports, extreme activities like mountain hiking. Bonding with your dog is also another form of making him feel that you have time for him thus eliminating the chances of having dog behavior problems which is mostly rooted from isolation.

You have a lot of options and you can spend that quality time how ever you wish. Through the following activities, you will be able to let him feel that you have time for him.

The most typical thing every dog owner does is teaching his dog new tricks. It might recompense his boredom and it could stimulate his mental alertness. Toys and other training materials can help you in this activity.

Watching your favorite TV show is another great way of relaxing with your dog. Dogs are friendly animals and they need constant companions.

Letting your dog to sleep next to your bed makes him feel more secured and comfortable for he finds safety from his owner. You can buy or make him a crate for his comfortable mood.

Now, let’s go outdoors. The first spot is the park. Here,he can learn how to socialize and at the same time get active with you through playing sports like fetching and running.

One good thing about bonding with your own dog is training him how to look up to you as a master. Some of the things that you can do while playing with him is to change the voice’s intonation and modulation. The gestures and your body language are significant elements too in making your dog obey what you have commanded.

Never get your dog punished especially when he is not doing anything wrong. This will affect his recognition of things and will get confused whether he is doing the right thing or not. Scaring or making him mad is different from playing with him.

Evidently all animals are often tamed when given food that they can eat. You have to feed your dog properly not just for his nourishment but also it will make him feel that he is well-taken care of.

Treat your dog through socialization. You may send him to doggie parties or make him join dog shows or a dog fashion contest. It will facilitate your pet to be familiar with his co-dogs and his surroundings, not just around the four corners of your house.

Knowing the dog’s right: his needs being fulfilled and being given a quality time is important. However, those are not enough if his master doesn’t find time to create a link between him and his dog. He must understand that a dog, like humans, needs the affection, health maintenance, and attention. Having all of the above done will sort out an enhanced well being and trust of the dog to his owner.
