Need tips for travel with my pet?

I have two dogs and a laboratory of a well and a cat. Anyone have tips for traveling 3000 miles? We are driving from west to east coast. I have a large wire cage for the cat to ride in the back of my Durango and I plan on making the dogs and the ease with some bedding. What else I can do for my animals?

Hello there! I travel a lot with my dogs. I always make sure I have plenty of water and food for them. My dogs are easily upset stomach, so I always bring my water. When drinking water can cause stomach upset others there. Always make sure they have comfortable bedding as well. Make sure that you will not get hot or cold. I always carry first aid equipment.
